The Museum provides a comprehensive service for all schools. The education team, made up of fully qualified teachers, have designed a range of fun hands-on sessions, workshops and study days for all key stages. Further details can be found in Schools & teachers.
This service is supplemented by our range of online educational resources designed for key stage two upwards. The Learning zone contains information about the collections linked to specific national curriculum topics. There are also games, trails, art and craft.
The Museum also provides resources for older students, researchers and life-long learners. These include scientific articles on various aspects of the collections, online displays, and biographies of our most famous collectors. You can find these under Learning more.
